Rules and Regulations/Terms and Conditions
1. The competition is open to all students aged between 6 - 18 for the Student's
Category and individuals 19 and above for the Public/Open Category.
2. Each participant is allowed to submit as many entries as they wish, however each has to be accompanied by an official entry form. Entry forms can be downloaded from http://www.northeastcdc.org.sg/1206088861344.html
3. All photographs should be submitted on prints (either digital/ conventional
cameras) of 8"x10" or 8R size. Photographs may be in colour or black and white.
4. DO NOT mount entries.
5. Captions may accompany entries, however they should not be more than 20
words long.
6.Participant's particulars, captions and other details should be indicated on the
official entry forms only and NOT on the back of submitted photographs.
7. Short listed participants may be required to produce the original and unedited digital file, negative or slide.
8. The organizer may disqualify any entry which has won prize(s) in other photo
competitions.
9. Participants must own the sole rights to the pictures entered for the competition.
10.North East CDC will not be responsible for entries either lost or damaged.
Entries are non-returnable.
11. All entries submitted will become the sole property of North East CDC who
also reserves the right to use them in any manner deemed fit, without payment of
any fees.
12. All entries MUST reach us by 30 May 2008
13.Winners will be notified by post. Upon notification, all winners must submit their
non-returnable negatives or transparencies, or original high-resolution digital
image files (minimum 2000x1600 pixels) of their winning entries to North East CDC for publicity purposes.
14. The decision of the judges is final. No further correspondence will be entertained.
15. Prizes not collected will be donated to charity.
16. Submission of entries signifies acceptance of the rules and conditions stated
above.
