The month of July has been dedicated as the Racial
Harmony Month.
It is with great pleasure that the North East Community Development
Council (CDC) introduces the North East Harmony Outreach Fund
exclusively for schools within the North East district.
As part of this district-wide racial harmony celebration, the
NE Harmony Outreach Fund aims to encourage schools to organise
creative and meaningful racial harmony projects for their students
in July. Schools can celebrate and learn about the joys of interacting
and appreciating other ethnic groups through these activities.
Upon North East CDC’s approval, each school can be granted
up to $1,000 to organise their racial harmony projects.
