Since 2001, North East CDC has worked with schools within the district
to reach out to more than 800 students and host families onboard this
unique home visit/ stay programme.
The programme provides students a home visit/ stay opportunity with
a host family from another ethnic group. A great exposure for students
to gain insights and better understanding to other cultures and customs
through an intimate home experience!
NEW! Enjoy
a 3-hrs experiential cultural tour this year for all participants of
the Ethnic Bonding Home Stay/ Visit Programme!! Choose from a variety
of exciting cultural activities (e.g. Chinese opera, cooking experience
or Kompang classes) that your students can take part in at Chinatown,
Kampong Glam or Little India before adjourning to a home stay/ visit
experience!
