JOBS is an online system providing employment opportunities for job seekers and hiring companies.
Hiring organisations are also welcome to participate in a number of Recruitment Exercises organised by the North East CDC:
- Walk-in-Interviews (WIIs):
Walk-in Interviews are held for large number of vacancies. Employers
will be provided with free venue, logistics support and manpower
for registration.
- Job Preparation Exercises (JPEs):
JPEs enable employers to prepare candidates prior to the actual interviews.
For example, this may involve coaching job seekers in English and Maths.
- Thematic Job Fairs:
These are job fairs that focus on particular industries such as the
service/manufacturing/technical industry or job fairs which target a
specific target audience such as matured workers.
- Alternative Job Fairs:
A showcase of unconventional employment opportunities ranging from the
arts and adventure to the sports and music field. For example, pursuing
a career as a lyricist, lifeguard, jockey, sky diving trainer or an
inline skating trainer.
