To unleash our youths’ creative potential and allow them to have immense fun at the same time, North East Community Development Council (CDC) has organised the North East Sailing Regatta, a raft building and racing programme for the students from the North East district

Bridging Hearts @ North East

It was a day tour that brought elderly from homes and children from Volunteer Welfare Organisations (VWOs) within North East district together to visit various farms in Singapore. The event aimed to provide a platform for the two generations to come together and participated in a day of fun and educational activities. Through the event, we hoped to let the elderly reminisced their days in farms/kampongs. We also provided an opportunity for the younger children to experience what farm life was all about. A total of 150 elderly and children participated in the event. They had visited the Hay Dairies, Jurong Frog Farm, Jurong Crocodile & Reptile Park and Farmart.
