Gastronomic Expressions

CEOs and personalities from the different industries will be invited to participate in the culinary event. Students from the homes will be working hand in hand with the personalities to prepare their signature dish, learning from them how to tackle problems such as time constraints or last minute situations through cooking. Day 2: After being featured in Channel 8 programme – “ ??? ”? Don Lim, owner of Don Your Personal Pie Club had received several requests from his regular customers who want to learn his recipe for his Black Pepper Crab featured during the show. Mr Lim decides to share his recipe and at the same time, to hold a charity culinary event which not only will satisfy the tastebuds of his regular customers but also to raise funds for the Salvation Army

Part of the NE Arts Festival, this night of performing arts would showcase local arts groups in Singapore. It also hopes to provide residents with the opportunity to appreciate local performing talents at their doorstep.

Flying Frenzy II

North East CDC partnering with Singapore Polytechnic in a glider competition focusing on creative designs and longest distance travelled. Secondary Schools students from the NE district participated in this competition and they would be encouraged to be creative when constructing their gilders.
