North East CDC Mayor's Cup Football Challenge 2006
A joint collaboration with the 3 respective football clubs, Tampines Rovers, Paya Lebar Punggol and Seng Kang Marine will be organising North East CDC Mayor's Cup Football Challenge- 5A Side Tournament. The football clubs will send in their teams that was trained under the development programmes such as soccer clinics, academy to compete. There are 5 age categories, mainly Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Ladies categories for this competition. This competition is also opened to schools in the North East District for them to participate. There will be knock out matches and semi finals leading to the final soccer competition. Using the points system, the winning team with the most points will get the coveted title as a championship for the Mayor’s Cup.

North East CDC Regional Mod-Touch Carnival
North East CDC Regional Mod-Touch Championships would be conducted where school teams from Under 8; 10; 12; 14; 16; 18 years who had signed up for the programme would compete. This event would helped participants of different age groups who had undergone the training sessions, to come together to pit each other skills in this friendly environment. Teams who had participated were awarded a certificate of participation as recognition for their participation

Harmonious Link
Harmonious Link is a run cum cycling sports event that starts from Pasir Ris Park & East Coast Park concurrently, then covering parks at Tampines & Aljunied GRCs. The ending point is at Bedok Reservoir Park.
